Position Overview: You will be part of an elite class participating in the China Accelerated Development program, designed specifically to fast-track your learning and impact to Intel. The program is a series of 3-4 rotations, over 2 years, across business units (sales/marketing, manufacturing, product development, geo strategy), and functional areas (operations finance, risk and controls, accounting, tax and trade, treasury, credit). You’ll have the ability to work and live in several of our major China locations within those two years.
As a Finance Specialist in this program, you’ll have opportunities to make a big impact on Intel’s business strategy. You’ll provide consulting and leadership for designing and implementing long-term and highly complex projects. And you’ll influence the development of new strategies and concepts to meet critical business needs. As a result, you’ll get accelerated development, experiential learning, visibility and coaching from senior controllers and business leaders. And we’ll provide you with formal classroom training and development – to groom you to become the future finance leaders of China.
Responsibilities:Apply finance and business acumen to drive financial strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans given China market dynamics and Intel’s products and services. Use strategic thinking, advanced analysis and autonomy to solve a wide range of business problems. Collaborate with senior managers to conduct in-depth analysis on major decisions that will keep Intel a world leader in computing innovation. Qualifications: Finance Specialists requires advanced knowledge of the finance field with in-depth knowledge in one or more areas – technology, mobile computing, semiconductor manufacturing, etc. Requires a proven track record of identifying & driving good business decisions, and has a history of delivering accurate financials. Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and senior management. MBA Degree in Finance or Business and 5-7 years of related practical experience in the technology industry. Must be willing to relocate throughout mainland China during the 2 year rotation program.
