Application Requirements
Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens with a bachelor's degree, under the age of 35 and in good physical and mental health.
Applicants who emigrate from the Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan district and have acquired foreign nationality, or applicants whose parents are both Chinese citizens but have settled abroad to enable the applicants to acquire foreign nationality at birth, must meet the requirements of Document No. 12 [2020] by the Ministry of Education of China.
Applicants should have excellent academic performance at the stage of bachelor degree studies, and meet the requirements of the applied postgraduate majors.
4. Specific Requirements
(1).Chinese Government Scholarship
①The application should be approved and accepted by related reviewing institutions, such as the applicant’s dispatching institution of his/her own country, Chinese embassies /consulates abroad.
②Applicantshave not received any other scholarship from the Chinese government or any other organization.
(2).Shanghai Government Scholarship
①Applicants should achieve excellent academic record, and have passed HSK-5 or above for programs taught in Chinese and reached the language level required by the host institution for the applied program.
②Applicantshave not received any other scholarship from the Chinese government or any other organization.
(3).Self-financed
Applicants should achieve excellent academic record, and have passed HSK-5 or above for programs taught in Chinese and reached the language level required by the host institution for the applied program.
Applicants who have obtained a bachelor's degree or master's degree( taught in Chinese) by the Chinese universities can apply for exemption from HSK scores.
Application Materials

Please log onto //www.skwebsol.com/wsc/2023/0217/c19504a156043/page.htm to fill in the application form. All the blanks of the form should be filled in Chinese or English clearly.
Certificate of Bachelor or Higher Education Degree
Scanned copy of original documents. If documents are not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or in English is required.Graduating students should provide a certificate of impending graduation, and the estimated graduation time should be earlier than August 31, 2023. Graduation certificate and diploma should be submitted for the registration;
Official Academic Transcript of Bachelor or Higher Education Degree
Original or notarized copy documents. If documents are not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or in English is required.
Language Proficiency Certificate
For Chinese-taught programs: effective (within 2yrs) HSK-5certificate. For English taught courses: English Language Test Certificate or official proof of taking English-taught programs.
Applicants who have obtained a bachelor's degree or master's degree(taught in Chinese) by the Chinese universities can apply for exemption from HSK scores.
A Study or Research Plan
Words: no less than 800 words;
Language: Written in Chinese for Chinese-taught programs;
Content: Include but not limited to personal study or work experience, academic research outcome, research plan of master program, personal goal after graduation.
Two Recommendation Letters from two professors or associate professors
Written in Chinese or English. The issue date of the recommendation letter should be later than September 1st, 2022. Recommendation letter MUST include: title of the reference, place of work, contact phone number, email address and reference signature;
Photocopy of Passport (Include personal information page and Chinese visa pages if you have been in China)
Passport-size photo (two-inch, 100-500KB) , bareheaded, full-faced with withe background;
9.Effective (within 6 months) Health Certificate
Physical examination report must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form
10. Non-criminal Certificate (notarized photocopy in English or Chinese).

Application Process
1. Online Application (Application Commencement Time: Mar.1, 2023 )
Please email all the electronic application materials ( PDF format , only photo in JPG format) listed in item IV toapply@suibe.edu.cn. Please make sure that all materials are clear and complete. Please write your email subject as "full name on the passport + 2023 SUIBE Application"
Scholarship applicants should also register and submit the application form on scholarship websites.
2. Participate in the interview
After receiving the interview notice, please attend the interview on time. The specific interview time is subject to the email notification. Please make sure that the email address you provided in your application is valid and reachable.
3. Track your application status online
Pay attention to your email to check your application status.
Admission and university enrollment
You will receive SUIBE’s admission letter if your application is accepted. Admitted students must register on the mentioned date stated in the admission letter and bring the original graduation certificate to be checked. You will fail to be enrolled without providing the relevant certificates.

2. Admission criteria
With basic application materials qualified to the requirements,students will be preferredif their application materials can demonstrate their excellent academic performance, and/or their performance in the required interviews excels. Chinese or English proficiency (relevant score certificates are required) is also an important aspect for consideration.
3. Admission rules
(1) Meet the basic application requirements.
(2) Sit for entrance examination or undergo assessment where they are applicable, and you need to pass the exams or assessments.
(3) The admission office will review the materials of the admitted students when you come to the university to get enrolled; If you fail to pass the review, your admission qualification will be cancelled according to the prescribed procedures.
